Dr. Ian Billinghurst has created examples of a week-long raw pet food diets in his book 'The Barf Diet' below are sample menus for adult dogs and adult cats. 

Sample RAW Menu for an Adult Dog for a week:

Mon A.M.: Raw meaty bones- chicken wings or backs or necks
Mon P.M.: Ground Beef, vegetable mix (vegetables must be crushed up completely), liver/salmon oil, egg, kelp/alfalfa

Tues AM: Raw meaty bones- lamb neck, lamb leb
Tues P.M.: Beef/Chicken Liver, vegetable/fruit mix, liver/salmon oil, kelp/alfalfa, vitamin E

Wed A.M.: Large recreational bone and chicken wing(s)
Wed P.M.: Raw meaty bones-chicken necks, backs, or wings

Thurs A.M.: Raw meaty bones- lamb necks or pork or turkey tail.
Thurs P.M.: Vegetable mix with chicken/beef/turkey/buffalo, salmon oil, vitamin E kelp/alfalfa

Fri A.M.: Raw meaty bones- Chicken wings/backs or necks
Fri P.M.: Ground beef with chopped heart, flax/alfalfa mix, vitamin E, liver/salmon oil

Sat A.M.: Large Recreational bone and a chicken wing
Sat P.M.: Ground turkey/chicken meat, vegetable mix, liver/salmon oil, egg, Vitamin E

Sun A.M.: Raw meaty bones- lamb neck, pork, turkey tails/necks, beef blend
Sunday P.M.: Ground beef/patties, vegetable/fruit mix, chopped kidney, Vitamin E,
 liver/salmon oil



Sample RAW Menu for an Adult Cat for a week:

Mon A.M.: Raw meaty bones- chicken wings or necks
Mon P.M.: Ground beef/patties with crushed vegetables, cod liver oil, egg, kelp/alfalfa, multi B vitamins

Tues A.M.: Raw meaty bones- Lamb meat, chicken ground with added crushed vegetables
Tues P.M.: Chopped liver and heart, kelp/alfalfa, vitamin E

Wed A.M.: Chicken wings and necks or ground chickenbacks
Wed P.M.: Ground Beef/patties with an egg and crushed vegetables

Thurs A.M.: Ground lamb necks, leg, or pork chops, with added vegetables
Thurs P.M.: fish oil, vitamin E, chicken wings, kelp/alfalfa

Fri A.M.: Pieces of rabbit
Fri P.M.: Raw meaty bones, chopped beef heart and kidney with crushed vegetables, vitamin E, and cod liver oil

Sat A.M.: Chicken wings or necks
Sat P.M.: Ground turkey meat, cod liver oil, egg, vitamin E

Sun A.M.: Ground lamb necks, pork, or turkey tails, or turkey blend/ beef blend with added crushed vegetables
Sun P.M.: Large piece of beef to chew
